Week/weekend

so, this past week, on tuesday my friend michael, from texas, came up to visit me for the week. it was an awesome time. pretty much just chillin, playing small world, and then a bit of M.O.A. , then some more small world. that game is seriously great, thank you michael. he sadly had to leave friday morning. after he left. i went back to sleep , got up at 1:30 and thought to myself. hmm, what should i do today? a couple hours later, my thoughts were answered. Zach k gave me a call and asked if i was going to go to the 09 staff reunion. i figured i might as well cause i didnt have anything else going on that weekend. he told me he could only be there for a couple hours anyway, so i figured that'd be a perfect option. just go chill with some great people for a couple hours then head back to school and sleep alot. once i got there everyone was so excited and just plain awesome to be around, i decided to stick around and hitch a ride with someone else. so, not really thinking about that, we all got ready to go to bed, (7 of us in a tent) i realized i only had one pair of clothes, and no tooth brush. so, needless to say i smelled fantastic the entire weekend. anyway, the first night started off pretty awesome, sneaking around, playing fireball, cramming 6 fully grown adults into a tractor tire.. you know, the norm. the next morning, i was woken to allyse saying good morning. this wouldnt have been a bad thing, except that i was the only one in the tent that actually got up, she went back to sleep along with the rest of the people.. Zach and allison were already outside so i just went and chilled with them. the day proceeded to be a good one. lots of random stuff, horse rides, serving a banquet for a bunch of women attending womens retreat. then that night 4 of us decided to go for a late night canoe ride. it was great. mainly cause i didnt have to do any work yah know? i sat in the middle with allyse while zach and allison did all the work. yah gotta love them wranglers. then after cole had gone to bed and zach left, allyse and i were left talking. it was nice getting to talk to her for once. i cant remember a time during the summer of 09 when i actually got the chance. i just wish we would've had more time to talk.. Next morning we all get up, pack up the tent and blankets and what not, say our goodbyes and head our separate ways. On the way back mitch and i stopped at burger king in st.cloud to get some food.. worst decision of the weekend by far. we both felt like throwing up in the car on the way back. the fries were nasty to say the least. but over all , the weekend was amazing and i'm super glad i got to stay for the entire thing. some pretty awesome memories were made.
